Kathryn Sky Tomlinson, PhD

Dr. Sky is a champion of technology advancements in the educational and corporate sectors with 15+ years of experience delivering high-impact programs and strategies to enhance student and organizational effectiveness. Exceptional people skills with rare ability to connect with students and businesses alike to drive educational, marketing and performance development initiatives. Expert with e-learning, curriculum development, social media, digital literacy, and nonprofit fundraising.

Dr. Tomlinson is an Adjunct Professor of Leadership, Curriculum, and Special Education at Touro University, Arkansas State University and at Grand Canyon University Department of Education.

Dr. Tomlinson earned an MS in Instructional Design Technology from Walden University and completed her dissertation, entitled “Understanding Instructional Needs of Entrepreneurs Learning Social Media Marketing” to obtain a PhD in Education and Human Sciences with a specialization in Learning, Instruction, &  Innovation.

Areas of interest and research are instructional design technology, diffusion of innovations, and teaching people from other cultures.

Dr. Sky currently teaches educational leadership and technology integration, instructional design, and teaching people from other cultures to graduate level learners. She served on the revision committee to revise the MS in Instructional Design program at GCU. She is well known as TEACHERSky serving as a high-impact tutor in English Language Arts for K-12 learners and English as a Second Language for worldwide learners of all ages.
